RS Tera (Sport)
Max learned to sail in an Optimist at the age of 8 during a summer camp in Sopot, Poland. The following year, Max’s parents bought him a Topper Taz where he practiced every day in the Baltic Sea over summer and came 5th in the Tri-City regatta in Poland.
When he returned to the UK, he discovered the RS Tera at his local club in London. His first club races resulted in wins, and after plenty of training at the club, he achieved a top-20 result at his first National Championship in 2016.
He was selected into the UK National RS Tera Sport squad in 2017 rising steadily in the UK national rankings, improving his consistency and achieving a number of podium results in several regattas. He was awarded an RYA Performance Bursary in December 2017, and he is now campaigning for the 2018 World and European Championships.
