Charlotte discovered sailing at aged 11, after attending a sailing course at Farmoor Reservoir in Oxford, UK - she loves the water, the comradery of sailing squads and thrives in a competitive environment.
She began sailing competitively more seriously in 2012, racing single handers and was placed 3rd at the RS Tera SPORT National Championships in 2013 in Weymouth. A natural progression to the RS Tera PRO followed, competing in this class for two years achieving 2nd at the RS Tera PRO National Championships 2015.
In September 2015, Charlotte started her transition to the 29er, racing with a boy crew for her first two years. During this time, they quickly progressed through the fleet – winning their first Grand Prix in 2016. A natural time to progress to an all-female pairing was in late 2017 and her partnership begins with Jess Jobson with their goal of becoming the top female pairing in the UK. They have been selected for 2018 GBR Youth Squad and since have competed on the UK and Europe Grand Prix circuits.
In addition the team have been invited to train alongside the RYA Podium Potential Squad to begin the progression into the 49er FX.
