Jacob attended his first Nationals at the beginning of August and did well; he had some good results in silver fleet and learnt lots!
The rest of the summer was spent in Trearddur racing at his local club; this showed the improvement he’s had over the last 12 months getting 4 bullets, 2 x 2nd and a 4th.
He then took part in the Late Summer Ranking; not his best event! Struggled with the tides in Poole Harbour as he had not really encountered them before. Big improvement on his starts over the weekend and he was in a good position in the last race when he capsized and got his sprit stuck in the mud which meant he couldn’t right his boat!
He’s currently ranked 117th overall in the UK and hoping to make it into the top 100 by having a good End of Seasons. Busy few weeks coming up training and racing before End of Seasons… all go!
Loving his new NPS Wheelie Bag too!
